WALK-A-THON will be on Friday, April 24th at 12:45 – 4pm!

Welcome to the 2026 Walk-A-Thon! The WAT is a long running tradition at Fairwood Explorer where students, parents, teachers, staff, and local businesses all come together to support our school community. We raise money for our school while having fun spending time with friends and family and promoting physical activity. Typically, most families participate, and if your student wants, you’re welcome to walk with them after the first lap.

Please be a part of our work and bring your family and friends along to experience the fun and community! We encourage you to donate to the Alliance on behalf of your student. Your donations help our teachers with extra resources and classroom supplies. They also help support our in-class programs, after school programs, and community events.

Volunteers Needed

Out Walk-A-Thon is 100% volunteer lead and we would like to have your help. This is our largest event of the year, so we need all families to participate.
